A Deep Respect for Each Individual
"Albert Einstein once said “Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile,” I believe this statement to be completely accurate. In my minimal time living on this earth, I’ve experienced what I consider every kind of emotion possible, grief, happiness, and love. But, haven’t we all? Due to the processes of day to day life, I think it comes easy to be caught up in our own emotions and forget that other people feel too.
Amongst a broad array of experiences, I have withstood the repercussions of a divorce, relocation, and a loss. Throughout all of these situations, I found myself questioning and over analyzing why I was experiencing these outcomes. However, being young and naive I never took the time to step outside of my own world and evaluate the struggles of those around me. I believe that with time and growth, I have finally come to the realization that I am not alone on the roller coaster of everyday living.
People come from all walks of life. I believe it is crucial to experience and learn from each and every individual you ever encounter. It is amazing what you may learn just from a basic encounter with someone who is completely different from yourself. Living in a very stereotypical society, one may be pleasantly surprised if they stepped outside of themselves and experienced how incredible people in this world really are. "
